About Us
We thought we were funny and we think you will too
Basically, we were buds in college and then we were buds after college. At some point, we both became teachers. Pretty soon after that, we both became dads. During Covid, our friend started a weekly D&D campaign which would always end up with just the guys talking about fatherhood or teaching.

Thing is, we all realized that we were kinda out of our depth. A lot was happening really quick and while there's a ton of information out there, we just needed someone to step in and say,
"This is your problem? Here's what you do."

But that didn't happen.
So now what?
We became our own network. We were texting and calling and just overall dumping loads of information to each other. Everything from evidence based researchable answers to just expressing what worked for us as individuals.

While this podcast is definitely meant to entertain, at its heart is really just a couple of guys talking about their own survival with the roles of father, husband, and teacher. Everyone has their own unique problems and their own conditions that don't always fit neatly into a discussion panel. This is more for ya'll.
Who we are
JD studied at Muhlenberg College and New Jersey City University. After going through the alternate route program, he started teaching almost 20 years ago. First as a sub, then a permanent sub, then a full blown teacher. He's been in Elementary, Middle, High, Vocational, S.T.E.M., Magnet, and even Juvie centers.

His two kids are glorious monsters. His eldest is a menacing 4 year old shebeast, and his youngest is the happiest, chunkiest little two year old guy.
